About Us

About the Owner

Hey y'all, I'm Madison Almes the agvocate behind the brand! I grew up in western PA where my family and I raised livestock on a small acre farm. When I'm not busy with HAM or my other jobs you can find me either watching The Office (my favorite comfort show), relaxing with a good book, outside playing with my wild Rottweiler Harley, or at my local Dunkin' drive-thru.

Our Link to Agriculture

Following in the footsteps of my dad I started showing livestock in 2013 and continued until 2021. For the first few years I only showed market hogs but then added show steers into mix (which became my favorites)! I showed at my local county fair for my whole showing career but as I got older I showed at various jackpot shows within PA and in surrounding states. Some jackpot shows I have shown at include the WVU Block and Bridle Bonanza, VCCP, and the PCLA Show Circuit. During the last half of my show career I have been fortunate enough to banner at a few jackpot shows along with at my local county fair. Even though I no longer lead animals into the ring I am grateful I get to capture the memories for other individuals who love the industry just as much as I do, both in and out of the show ring.

How We Started

How We Started

I first found my spark for photography in 2018 when I took some ring shots and award photos for some exhibitors at my local county fair. Not long after I made a little general photography Instagram page, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make a career out it. I eventually took some time off from taking photos to focus on school and college  but I knew I wanted to still be involved with the agricultural industry somehow. I knew that if I started a business I wanted to be more than just agricultural photography. I wanted it to become a space that promotes not just the agricultural industry, but the amazing individuals that are apart of it. The idea of HAM came into my mind in the summer of 2024 just one year before college graduation and the rest is history.
